Our story

Built by the people who run it

Couts started in 1978 with a single fabrication bay and a belief that mechanical work is best done by teams who own the result — literally.

Today we're a 100% employee-owned design-build contractor delivering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and monitoring across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.

That ownership model shows up in the details: tighter tolerances, cleaner installations, and schedules that hold.
